Why Pay ANYTHING For A Business Website?
Web design has become more of a DIY niche and when we are unable do it ourselves, there are those that expect someone to show us for free. Afterall, there are tens of thousands of tutorials, forums, videos, and templates available online and free for anyone willing to learn. With so many free options, why hire a web designer or, even better, a web developer?
With most businesses failing within the first year and so many projects, ideas, ambitions never getting off the ground (we know firsthand), it may not make sense to spend money right away on this type of service.
Big web companies offer the opportunity to create a website for free, complete with cookie cutter drag and drop templates, some even include free website hosting. We have trolled many web forums and have heard some experienced business folks say, “… never pay someone to build a website. This company or that company offers it for free ...” – their technical knowledge is overwhelming (sarcasm).
